  • @clevercleverchris Yes, I have the recording played by Heifetz, for whom the work was commissioned. It is just absolutely beautiful and I, too, wonder why it's not more often played. I wonder how Oistrakh would have played it. And the second movement is without a doubt one of the most fascinating slow movements I've ever heard.

  • This is such an amazing concerto, I dunno why its not as popular as, say, the Korngold or the Glazunov

  • Sensational! Great concerto...BRAVO, maestro! I think Rozsa wrote the Ben-Hur score -- One of the all-time greats. Now, for the second part.......
