@freetube1to1 very good point, when dealing with a fraud like Joseph Smith and a counterfeit gospel, lots of things are not mentioned. Mormons are too caught up on feelings and emotion than sound biblical doctrine and truth. Many hear the gospel but only so many receive it. The good news is mormons are leaving the LDS church. Praise God!!!!

@latterdaymystic good for you, I left after many many years, i was born and raised, I was hoping to be a bishop one day. I started having doubts and told to trust my testimony. I researched on my own from LDS sources and discovered that JS was a false prophet. I also studied the history intensly and discovered that they weren't always the victim. JS was very controversial and had outlandish ideas. I am free now too and and found Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
