MonoChrome-256_01

Heres a quick demonstration of running MonoChrome 256 in Ableton Live, showing a few of the new functions I added in the lowest row (collapse, copy/paste, and swing are shown). I'm running MonomeSerial+256 on the Mac (the computer taking the movie) and it is communicating to the plugin (on Windows) over ethernet. You need to edit the MonoChrome256.cfg file to do that, by default MonoChrome assumes you're running MonomeSerial on the same machine (127.0.0.1)

Thks. I'm at that point now that my seq rolls fine (playing) now i can arm the monocrome and edit perfect but no sound... I have to rec-engage the impulse strip to hear the result, but it is no more possible to record.. how to have both ?

just set monitor to "in" on both impulse tracks

look at the 32-step preset (you use offs. on row 2 and step seqlen's to 32)

I got it about the seqlenght and looping . I put monochrome on stripe 2, impulse prst on str.3 then on str3 I choose midi from 2(monocrom).. then the midi control is on both and I can change with my controller but o sound is heard ( even if i try the "audio to 2" thing..

you need to use Ableton PITCH plugins to restrict different IMPULSE modules to particular ranges (e.g. -12 transpose) if you want to control multiple impulse modules. Monochrome only sends on one MIDI channel.
