These are some scenes of an early and rare film performance by Mark Linn-Baker in the sleeper film The End of August. Set at the turn of the century, the film follows the story of an independent woman in her quest to overcome the restrictions society has placed upon her. Mark's moments are standouts in an otherwise fairly slow movie.
I wish I can bring back Kate Chopin and direct her towards Lake Michigan to drown like edna for such a boring assignment of reading her book in English class... And the Movies < its like my english teacher removed all the movies for this book off the earth! Cant find them.. Anywhere :/

This unfortunate production of a luminous story should be burnt. BURNT.

Mark Linn-Baker is always great, whether in this movie, or in "Perfect Strangers", or in "Noises Off" or in any other acting appearance!
