A photographic journey through the many wives of Al Jolson. Irving Berlin's "Easter Parade" was preformed several times on Jolson's "Kraft Music Hall." The first time it was heard on the program was in 1933 and it made its last airing in 1949. Along with Jolson, Lou Bring and his orchestra are featured here.

  • Just wonderful :)

  • Really nice to look at and to listen to.

  • This recording isn't bad, but I heard Jolson perform the song on the radio once, and it was really something. I don't know if it was the live audience, or the time limit, or what, but it seemed really snazzy.

I forget where I heard it. It might have been the Jack Benny Show, but it could have also been Jolson's own show. This one is still a lot better than Bing's. Anyhow, the one I was thinking of is probably full of cracks and hisses.

    Nice pictures.

  • Of course, a wonderful tribute to his wives, as well! Bravo, my friend! :D

  • One of the best tributes to Jolson I've ever seen. Done with such loving care. Superb job, Eddie! 5 stars, and favourited! :)
