If I remember correctly, the actor who played Zedd also played The Hitchhiker in the original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

The episode he talks about is "No Clowning Around" i think. Austin was the best Ranger by the way!!!

@tubeview96 No, I'm sure that line "down .....clown" line was delivered in episode "No Clowning Around". Only that episode had clowns (disguised by putties and Rita's monster) whereby one of the clowns evolved into a crazy giant Pineapple. :)

That's an ironic twist. Rito called Zedd "Ed" frequently during MMPR Season 3, and the actor who played Zedd is named Ed.

I know what you mean, "ironic twist" probably isn't the best term to decribe it, but it's interesting to finally understand why Rito Called Zedd "Ed". It worked well because Zedd's voice actor who always corrected Rito was not named Ed.
