You know instead of making those big slides that you do in the breakdown, i'm sure you can find the same note closer to where you were sliding from... That being said, it might not sound the same, but just a tip you probably already knew for your own stuff.
I know i use to do these unnecessary slides when the note i was looking for was a fret under in the next string. You just gotta think stuff out.

@Jamsessionroom1337 yeah dude i know but thats how paul played that section in the recording..if you pick all the notes using the other strings as you said, you end up losing the desired effect :)

@blindscout this was simply a stock ibanez rg 320 straight into a marshall mg 15cd, nothing else!
