Audio is from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKZq11GnofA

I was standing just to the right of him as he recorded this same performance. We discussed later the possibility that I might use the audio from his high-quality recording, since my camera's audio is only 16000Hz mono with a gain control that removes dynamics. With the stereo and dynamics of his audio, you can pick out individual instruments much better.

So what I've done here is mated his audio to my video. Rather than being otherwise a duplicate of his video, I've decided to present it with Japanese title and tags. I have noticed that the videos of game music in which I have included Japanese text in the titles have had a much higher percentage of Japanese viewers than other game-music videos.

Thus the title here is entirely in Japanese, and the credits within the video also are in Japanese. English-speaking viewers are more likely to find his video on a search, whereas Japanese-speaking viewers will find mine.

Unlike the previous video I have of the Raspberry Jam Band playing this tune, this one has their primary tuba player, Mark Meeker. Other band members, left to right, are Kitty Wilson (washboard), Tom Brier (piano), Mary Preston (violin), George Preston (euphonium), and Julia Riley (piccolo).

They credit me as the arranger of this tune, but I only made this piano score: http://users.sfo.com/~keeper/music/yoshiath.pdf -- they are simply reading that and have come up with their own arrangement. The band typically does not play band arrangements of tunes, but play off piano scores and work out their own unwritten arrangements.

Of course, the music is the work of Koji Kondo for the Nintendo game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It is the Athletic Theme.
