@stillbreathing37 You need to look at your unemployment numbers again because you are way off as far as your argument goes. At no point during Governor Walker's term have we been the highest in the nation. In fact, our unemployment rate has gone down. It's currently at 7%. The highest in the nation is Nevada at 13% and the lowest is North Dakota at 3.3%. Just look up state by state unemployment rates and it will take you to the BLS site.  Have a nice day.

Before Walker was elected, Wisconsin was in a fiscal world of trouble. Afterwards, it still was in a fiscal world of trouble; but in addition, the economy stopped growing until October.

Blame it on the Unions and Democrats if you want, but the same thing happened in the US in general when the Repubs got into office. Did the unions and Democrats also cause that?

And who caused the steadily declining unemployment in both the US and Wisconsin before the Repubs got inaugurated?

The Voting Tax Payers, Voted Walker into office to clean-up & Fix the democrat's mess. Once he took office UE dropped to 7.4% and stayed that way for 5 months - Yes? The next 3 months the UE increased from 7.4 to: 7.6, 7.8, 7.9 and then started going down. In Sep it dropped to; 7.8, 7.7, 7.3 and finished the year at 7.1% - Yes? Also, Walker could boast that the state had a net increase of jobs at year's end.

Point is, the Democrats were bad politicians. They were fair policy-makers, but didn't understand how to stay in power.

Not more than three times or so did I hear them campaign on the record-breaking tax cuts they passed in February of 2009, and they never made a 30 minute film of Republican Congressmen taking credit for the Stimulus projects they voted against.

And some things were beyond their control, like the record of ignorance brought forth by the tea party and whatnot.
