A scene from the Chinese action flick "Xanda", which is a movie based on the martial art "sanda" (also known as "sanshou"). Sanda is a modernised form of kung-fu which evolved from various wushu styles with foundations based on Jeet Kune Do and Shuai Chiao (Chinese wrestling). It is now a popular full-contact sport much like kickboxing that also allows the use of throws, body slams and take-downs.
In this scene, Qiang (now fully trained in the art of Sanda) faces the reigning champion, Wei, in a final showdown. Not only he has highly improved, he also incorporates some of his own kung-fu techniques with his sanda skills in this match.
@Neko687 But you're right though. Sanda/Sanshou was at the time created in response to the popularity of Muay Thai as a fightsport. So china developed their own by fusing boxing, kickboxing and muay thai techs as as well as adding throws and takedowns into it.
I quite like sanda. It's one of the most complete and versatile forms of standup kickboxing.
