i though ryu didn't use RPB. at 2:40 it was a great shot....but with the speed glue ban...i think his game lowered a bit.....but still a great player...

It WAS good enough to win Olympic Gold. Now everyone knows not to let him get to his forehand and since the glue ban and his own aging, his normally fast game has slowed considerably and now he's likely to lose more.

No one has a good record against the top players in the world, not even each other, there are some that Samsanov plays well against, but penholders, aka the best two in the world, murder him and his blocking passive style.

It really pisses me off that all those top players, only play with forehand. They sometimes use bh but not often enough. Its the fastest game on earth, even in slower sports like tennis they use bh, why do they want to play everything with FH? i know its because of the power you can get with a FH stroke, but I dont like it at all. The most stupid thing is, that people in europe learn to play like this but they will never be so fast as chinese because they dont train their footwork like chinese

you know what? it is true the fact that alot of top player uses the forehand more than they do with the backhand, but the penholders like ma lin and ryu are exeption, they are penholders, so they don't have a choice since there backhands are weak and not consistent enough. Also, you are wrong, the shakehand players use backhand pretty enough, check wang hao, ma long, timo boll and others for example.

Ma Lin is a short-haired smashing machine! lol Is it just me, or has Ryu Seung Min been sucking lately? He was much better in the 04 Olympics.

thats just because ryu seung min is on fire in some important tournament like olympic or WTTC. But, he plays normally in normal tournament. The chinese like ma lin, wang hao or ma long are already used to ryu's style.
