Nice introductory video. As mentioned, the ultrasound exam is highly operator dependant and many cancers go undetected or falsely interpreted as benign every year due to lack of standardized protocols in ultrasound departments. Request a sonographer or a radiologist who uses a Breast Ultrasound Structured Reporting Software to generate the report. This will ensure a higher accuracy, consistency and readability of the report especially useful when you need to come back for follow up examinations.

very helpful as well for me. im 20yrs old and i hav family history of cancer. for months ive had a lump in my right breast and its been painful. i received a mammogram and the results came bak as it being only a cyst, but i want a second opinion and thats why im going to receive an ultrasound on my breast and will be getting it removed.
