I knew someone who injured his thumb at work. It turned black, he tried washing and soaking in salt water and soapy water but nothing. He came back the next day. with an onion wrapped around his thumb and the next day the little black spot was gone. He said he took the thin inside peeling off and wrapped the onion peel around his thumb for 5 hours or so. BUT IT WAS JUST A SMALL SPOT

Ok, you did. It doesn't change the fact that insulin itself does not make you fat. Diabetics' habits do. Insulin kinda increases hunger, but whether you are going to overeat or not depends on you.

Oh, so here you created a new theory 'bout how insulin works ey? Insulin does not make you fat. What it does is increase the amount of glucose your cells absorb to cover their' energy needs. Aside from allowing you to cover these it makes your liver store glucose as glycogen, which also does not make you fat. It only enables your organism to work properly. What makes you fat is your diet. The more you eat, the more glucose in your bloodstream, the fatter you are.
