This lady is a TOKEN. Shame. It really is. She cowtows to the White people at this meeting and doesn't really address for me what has been said and part of this doctrine. This lady seems like so many who try to find religion and move from one to another. She'll probably be a Buddist next. Shame. As a Black person, her comments didn't convince me. She has a European nose, how was that relevant? To me it exhibited her self hate and her attempt to be more WHITE to others.

@lunargoddess2002 specifically what doctrine are you speaking of? this was made in 2002....she has maintained her membership for quite some time. did you watch the whole talk? she mentions several times her love for her race. i regret that you did not get much from her....i think she rocks....she is one of my favorite speakers.

I'm black, and I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints heading towards my 22nd year in the church. I'm also a former anti-Mormon who freed myself from the narrow-minded views and lies of that movement when I asked Heavenly Father for help, and He sent me the missionaries to teach me the truth about Him and His Son my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No one can take my testimony that They live today and we continue to receive revelation from Them.

@tiana1017 The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible and is a record of God's dealings with His chosen people in the New World. The main purpose of the Book of Mormon is "to the convincing of Jew and Gentile that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD, manifesting himself unto all nations." (Book of Mormon Title Page) It was written by ancient American prophets for our day (Mormon 8:35) and is an American testament of the Lord Jesus Christ.
