I KNOW THE GUITAR IS TOO GOOD FOR ME
This particular one happens to have a body that is almost exact as to its neck color...Total 248 made since 2000
I am picking with fingers and I don't leave my nails long... you get bright sound just from finger tips
Would be a bit louder if picked with a pick
Features forwatd shifted scalloped X bracing, style vintage 45 appointments snow flake inlay butterbean tuners
Koa has a bit more mid range than its spruce friends, but less bass
recorded with Canon G9

Sold one kidney to buy it..

  • @moradianhong that is a poor attempt on Lindsey Buckingham's "Big Love". Thanks!

  • Well, I have a Martin D42 with a spruce top, and I LOVE it, of course. Your Koa top is absolutely gorgeous.

  • @Scarlett4Zanzibar I love the spruce top D42 too! I had to get this one first because it was a rare find. Thanx for your comment!

  • koa makes the best guitars. cedar tops sound great with koa too

  • @minpinful

Yes, or 1/10 of a Mustang GT, 15.000 apples, 500 stupid looking T-shirts, 350 gallons of Castrol motor oil, 1000 nice thermos flasks, 2000 liters of beer, 1000 lbs of milk chocolate...

But screw that, I'd go for this guitar too.

  • @minpinful Yes I have more than 5 spruce tops from different makers. ...wanted something different. Thanks

  • @komiks17 beatles - "blackbird"

  • I own a D-42 as well. I also know that the quality and sound of the instument far exceeds my skill level. This does not prevent me from enjoying the guitar. It actually pushes me to want to be better and more deserving. The better you get the more you enjoy your instument. In my opinion there is no sense in buying junk and getting fustrated. If you want it and can afford it, buy it and enjoy it. Martins hold value well, should you ever decide to sell it.

  • what's the name of music in the start of video?

PS. Guitar is realy awesome. My congratulations
