@Saruman007 I totaly agree there, some seem less impressed with this album for some reason but it follows on from power cosmic brilliantly, and this odd standout track links it to chthonic chronicles nicely as well I think, which has one or two similarly weird tracks with wind instrument synths...

@666metalsucks666 Bal-Sagoth is the name of an island in a Robert Howard short story, The Gods of Bal-Sagoth. Byron's a huge fan of his, and i'm a huge fan of Byron's... :D

hmm not bad. i think i like the band name more than the music lol. that's rare. BAL-SAGOTH!!!!!!! sounds so old and kvlt. makes me want to summon yog sothoth and watch him destroy villages from far away on a frosted mountain cliff.

Wonderful how these guys can create an amazing ambience, fitting perfectly the thematics of the story. No wonder they're considered by many the most underrated band ever.
