Dwight D. Eisenhower's Secretary of Agriculture, Ezra Taft Benson, one of the most staunch, anti-communist/socialists of the 20th century. It is said he developed a deep hatred for these vile and murderous ideologies, and every time he had the chance, spoke out against the "communist/socialist conspiracy." This speech was recorded in 1965 in Salt Lake City in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square, next door to the famous Mormon Tabernacle where the Choir continues today the longest running radio broadcast in history. LDS Church President, David O. McKay was in the listening audience, and no doubt was the push to have LDS Apostle Benson give this stunning address, wherein he cites treason from within the American Government, of which he himself was witness, having been in the Cabinet for all 8 years with Eisenhower. Ezra Taft Benson told Dwight Eisenhower at his appointment time that he didn't and wouldn't have voted for him. It was Senator Taft that Benson was behind (and whom Ron Paul too stands with.) Senator Taft would have been the greatest president we could have had, but the establishment worked hard to ensure Eisenhower took the nomination over the truly Constitutionalist, US Founding Father loyalist, Senator Taft.

Absolutley he knew. He knew it was the bankers who had hijacked our nation, but had also financed communism and kept it afloat the whole time, using "western democracies" (no longer republics) to do the real funding.

Yep the full account or lecture here makes it plain, and he endorsed "None Dare Call It Conspiracy" that blows the lid off the fact too, published 5 years or so after this speech was given.

I disagree with his disgusting Imperial stance on Cuba.

I agree with his misgivings about the UN and especially his opposition to the Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia conflict!

He's dead wrong about a "socialist/communist" conspiracy - as there was an often antagonistic relationship between the proponents of market socialism in W. Europe and the USSR's authoritarian command economy. The conspiracy was always a capitalist geopolitical grab for the world's natural resources, trade routes & cheap labor.

@EmpireOfHeaven None Dare Call It Conspiracy was an excellent book and so was None Dare Call It Treason. I used to go to out of print bookshops and buy copies of them for next to nothing and then give them away to those that I thought would read them and tell them to pass them on to others they thought would do the same. Can you freaking believe that I've seen copies of those two books in the god damned Sci Fi sections of book stores?!
