So apparently the eight upload's the charm. o____O Although the quality's pretty decent, since there's a lot of detail at the very start, even at HD...it's not enough to actually see everything. D: How sad.

I'll include a download link if it's requested...otherwise I'm not going to spend time messing with uploading it since it takes forever.

Nothing much to say...I think this AMV will speak for itself, lol. This was fun to make, though I think I've personally grown to dislike the middle, but oh well. If I had the time and patience, I would have gone back and redone it. But time is not on my side. I will say that I've been working on this pretty desperately (literally day and night since 'Gone' 'cept for the two days where I did no editing at all) so that I could get this done before Friday. I'm a whole...what, 18 hours early? [Edit: Well, now it's actually -8 hours...this is what happens when it takes you way too long to get youtube to accept the file] Yay for me meeting deadlines. [AMV Details]

-There are minor spoilers at the very end for those that don't read the manga...but I seriously doubt you're going to understand what's being spoiled, because I've purposely done it ambiguously.

-In case any of ya'll were wondering, there's a lot of symbolism going on in this AMV...also a lot of detail you prolly won't catch watching it once. For example...the very beginning, the sketchy bit? The people are see through, hazy and tv-colored. The background is (hand)sketched. All of this is supposed to encode what Ichigo sees into the viewer's eyes...he could see ghosts, shinigami, friends, and now he can't. Paralleling this, we can't see the color in the surroundings, and his friends/teachers are hard to make out. Anyways, I'm not gonna bore you with more semantics. But there are other such instances throughout this short piece in case you wanted something more to look for.

-The Sketchy Bit: This isn't an effect per say...just a lot of masking. Ichigo was masked separate from the background. The background was traced in photoshop with a mouse. :]

-Estimated Time Spent: 96 - 144 hours [12 days, 8-12 hours per day].

How do you choose the music BC? Because when i look at the amv i notice you have a lot of the words to the song in the amv. So you pick remix's and dumbstep like songs? Or is it oh this music would work but i need to find a not put me in jail song?

@swardinc I choose my music on a variety of things. :] Mostly, what comes into a play, is what won't get me thrown into jail (or a copyright infringement) which is why I choose mostly instrumental or electronic pieces now. Not always though (I'm using a Switchfoot song in one of my next projects)....after that, it's basically whatever I like based on songs I randomly happen to find or people's suggestions. :]

@bleachcenter kinda mean how did u manage to get ichigo/ rukia out of the video clip? .. or did u manage to get them without the background? only thing i can think of to do that .. is masking in motion 5, as i have a mac :/ can't use sony vegas :(
