L - Message to the Westboro Baptist Church

Greetings people of Youtube,

I am L

The difficulty of this protest lies in its unprecedented scope, and make no mistake, we are witnessing an atrocious act of mass bigotry, one that is unforgivable. This case cannot be solved without the full cooperation of the users of the Internet. In particular, I require the cooperation of citizens of the state of Kansas, as you bare the unfortunate burden of having the Westboro Baptist Church being located in your state. What I ask of all of you, is that you send this video to the Westboro Baptist Church, and encourage your friends and aquiantances to do so as well. Flood them with emails containing this video, so that we might get our message through to them that what they are doing is wrong.

Fred and Shirley Phelps, I am now speaking directly to you.

Throughout the history of what you call a church, you have claim that God hates gays, and God hates America for supporting gays. It is pure intolerance to blame everything that happens on one group. You have claimed that 9-11 and the Virginia Tech shootings happened because of God's hatred of America. That is just shameful. And by the way, if you study up on your history, you'll find that Hitler blamed the Jews for everything. My point: You are no better than Hitler. But I wouldn't expect you to know that. Only an educated person who uses common sense would be able to figure something like that out.

Your biggest wrongdoing however, is your hateful picketing at the graves of fallen soldiers, because you say they support a country that supports gays. That is just unforgivable. Those young men and women died for their country, and their mourning families would like nothing more than to mourn in peace, and you take that last right away. I want you to think for a minute about that. Is that really what Jesus would have you do? I tell you now what people have tried to tell you for years now:

What you are doing is evil.

Now, try to attack me. Say that I'm a fag enabler and picket my grave when I die. I dare you.

I have made my message clear to you. I am eager to hear what your feeble response is. This will not be the last time you hear of me.

@shaleya21 No he had really planned running away from the very beginning Kira appeared. When Light thought he had killed L, L really ran away to Disneyland. He had assigned Near and Mello to deal with Light and they acted as if they needed proof and such so they could drag out the show to get monies. Also it was all an elaborate prank, nobody ever died. After Death Note ended Light became a professional swimmer, Near grew up to be a toy designer, Mello became an Astronaut.
