Portland Mayor Sam Adams had ordered the camp shut down Saturday at midnight, citing unhealthy conditions and the encampment's attraction of drug users and thieves.

those police officers have every right to defend themselves or take action if the protesters

start behaving like savages, there are ways to tell your government how you feel without screaming like a lunatic and beating up police officers.
