  • I've done a few gigs like that. "Casting Pearls before Swine" It is great the way you ignored their ignorance. The small child at the beginning was the only one to stop and take notice of the wonderful music.

It all adds to the experience of believing in your music against all the odds.

    Much Respect!

  • This looks like a scene out of a Woody Allen film! The next time you play at your local "I-HOP" make sure you eat your share of pancakes! You definately have GOT IT for talent but I guess you've got to pay your dues...

  • For chrissake...

Indifference before beauty should be penalized.

    Much respect.

  • Now you know why a lot of old blues performers played National Steel Guitars - so they could hit the ignorant motherfuckers over the head if they got too noisy (without smashing the guitar). I cannot imagine just wandering past anyone playing Richland Woman Blues as well as you do without being stopped dead in my tracks.

In the end it all evens out: talented unknowns like you getting ignored makes up for all the absurd adulation that many famous No-Talents get (I'm sure a few come to mind)

  • Right singer and player, wrong place, don't waste your time in those places.

  • Some people just don't appreciate talent when it's right in front of them.

It's soul-destroying ! Don't let it get you down. I've been there umpteen times like that too.

Perhaps a re-think on the type of venues you agree to play ?

    You deserve better !

  • I do not know if anyone has made a Ghost World reference, but it definitely seems fitting in this case. Buncha Philistines. Blueshammer fa life bro!

  • Ooph, pretty rough scene there. But the kid at the beginning made my day, as did your sidelong smirk during the happy birthday song.

  • Tremendous talent. I hope you're playing at venues where people will listen to you. I think you would do really well in competitions where judges would praise your skills.

  • [Standing Ovation]

  • Ah haaa! You can smile! .....Very funny video.

Sorry you had such a tough crowd.

  • They were content to feed their stomachs and ignored their ears and brain. How could so many walk by and not one but a little girl caught your talent? I hope I never miss such an opportunity. Come play at Kentuck Art Festival in Northport, AL for us who have found you. It is in Oct. and there is a web site.
