ESG (Emerald, Sapphire & Gold) is a band from the South Bronx, New York
The band originally consisted of sisters Maria Scroggins (congas, vocals), Renee Scroggins (vocals), and Valerie Scroggins (drums), and friends David Miles (guitar) and Leroy Glover (bass)
A later incarnation of the band consisted of Deborah Scroggins, Maria Scroggins (congas, vocals), Renee Scroggins (guitar, vocals), and Valerie Scroggins (drums)
ESG have been influential in a wide range of musical genres, including hip hop, post punk, disco, and dance-punk

@rokku1 The funny thing is that the 3-track Factory UK 12" version had it on a side listed at 33 1/3! The 6-track 99 Records 12" EP version of course has it at the 'right' speed.
