In Webisode #20, Ed Victor, The Big Gun in Voice Overs introduces you to his big friend, John Wilkes Booth, a.k.a. his WhisperRoom, to tout all the benefits of a sound proof booth and why you should have one.
Enjoy.

  • Nice booth, Ed. Did you have to make any adjustment to the interior to get the booth to sound the way you wanted? Add or remove Auralex?

  • Great webisode, Ed. One for the highlight reel.

We've provided Auralex products to WhisperRoom for, golly, nearly 20 years I think. Great, high-integrity people who do a good job with their product. I'm sure they (like we) appreciate the exposure in your webisode.

Great as booths are, for those who don't have space or money for a booth, or want to build from scratch, Auralex can definitely help with sound intrusion. Advice is free via our Personalized Room Analysis Form.

    Go, Big Gun!

  • Great video, Ed! Thank you! In 2008, we changed the design of the WhisperRoom and there are no more straps! The ceiling and floor are bolted to the walls with hinged brackets. Complete assembly can be performed from the interior! We love the new look and convenience!

    Thanks again, Ed!

  • Ed, thanks for the webisode. Does the "air sucker" generate any noise?

  • This is a great webisode! It cuts the sound of cutting the grass but does it cut the sound of a wood chipper? My father in-law cuts and trims trees. One day he decided to trim our trees in the front of our house. On a day I was recording an ebook! Because he's family, he does it for free. But still, I really wish he would had called first. I had to stop recording and wait until he was done. A wood chipper is a LOT louder then a lawnmower.

  • I thought John Wilkes Booth died? You got a time machine in that studio too, Ed? :) Great webisode, bro. I have a similar problem. I live in FedEX's flight path next to an airport. It's a pain for about an hour a day, twice a day.
