Xel-Ha is an amazing place in Mexico where fresh water and sea water come together. You may notice that the water looks cloudy or ripply or kinda oily looking, that's actually the fresh water mixing with the salt water! It's an amazing thing to witness. Also when you're swimming in it, it constantly changes from feeling cold to very warm and hot, this is also due to the two waters mixing.
Xel-ha is a natural park south of the Riviera Maya coast, near Tulum which we visited on holiday in Mexico. 15th June 2010
