I know that's right! My church sings this song for Christmas, same version just without a lead.  This choir knows it has ministry, something some choirs have lost.

I'm happy, Christmas and Hanukkah are almost here. As a Jew I can rejoice with my people, for what He did for our ancestors with the oil, and as one who has come to faith in Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, and of the world, I can rejoice with my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, for what Messiah did for us all! What an awesome rendition of this wonderful hymn! May God bless you as you serve Him with your voices!

What can I say but,Black Gospel should only be sung by Black Christians.I am a Jew,and a Christian,from Orthodox Judaism,My Pastor whom mentored me when I came to faith had a fond affection of Black Gospel.He like me was Jewish,but had a strong love for Black Gospel music.He told me the history of the music that it bore a secretive message to help those in the underground railroad where to go,and what to watch for.I now am in love with it to,because of the History,and your faith!
