When I discovered the song, I was reading a book called "Headhunters and the Airmen” about a bomber that crashed in the Borneo jungle during WWII. The head hunters fed and protected the surviving crew from the Japanese. During the long hideout period the air crew taught the headhunters songs from home; the passage in the book said one of the headhunter's favorites, was none other than "HALLELUJAH! I'M A BUM"

I'm glad you put a good copy of this song on Youtube! When I discovered this 2 years ago, I instantly became infatuated with it. I really love the song.
