One women~28 days~610-km length. Smithers resident Ali Howard is going to extreme lengths to educate people about the importance of Northwest BCs Skeena River. She plans to swim the Rivers entire, from the Sacred Headwaters to the Pacific Ocean, tracing the annual migration of the Skeena wild salmon. She's doing it to raise awareness of threats to the Skeena and bring communities together around a vision for the watershed's future.
