The popular thing in the 1960's and most of the 70's in country music album making was to do covers of the big hits other artists had. I've heard lots of versions of Freddie Hart's "Easy Loving": Bob Luman, Nat Stuckey, Susan Raye, etc. Here's another one to throw into the mix! Tommy does good in my opinion. From his 1972 "This Is Tommy Overstreet" album.

  • good music

  • Great song! Always loved it.

  • This is a decent version of Freddie Hart's classic by Tommie. All the versions come complete with the wonderful, inspired steel guitar intro and musical break which help to make this song so special.

  • Wonderful!

  • I have Ferlin Husky's version of this, almost the same.
