@sirkenyard True pyrit does use "dictionary attack" but its more of boost of speed thats the important part.
As for crunch its useful if its a ISP set WPA key (most are 8 chrs long and lowercase random letters) so you could get crunch to go through evry combo.

@cyberjackcyberjack i thought pyrit only uses dictionary attacks. whereas with crunch it generates words/every letter combination as its going, hence better than dictionary in that respect since dictionary either has it or not.

that would take forever. Besides i dont like GUI's thast no fun and takes the skill away from a talented one.
for the recored you better of with pyrit as it uses GPU's and is 50% faster than eny CPU
