How are aces "overpowered"? Just because they're as skilled, if not more so, than Amuro and Char doesn't mean they're overpowered... Just look at Norris Packard from 08th MS team, he could probably easily hand Amuro's ass to him... Good piloting skills does not mean overpowered.

I actually dont think that's Kai. The number on the front is different than his. If anything, it's probably that random 3rd Guncannon pilot that's featured for about three seconds in the Movie Trilogy version of the battle.

I liked the Guncannon pilot. He went against a technically superior MS that had better melee performance, engaged him at melee range and survived while taking down another MS. Plus he did it using a technique that was developed by Char!

If only the show could have been this well animated. But that was beyond their time. Maybe if they redid it with this quality. Or just animate For The Barrel.
