I think LP and GOP can stand together or closly.LP's policies are always idealistic,while libertarians in GOP can be more realistic.Those young Libertarian politicans can practic their skills in LP,then join GOP when they are muture.

Us, Ron Paul, Libertarian Republicans have pretty much taken over most of the important leadership positions within the Republican Party in Minnesota...it has been a Revolution from within...and we have just begun to fight. I suggest, that other Libertarians do the same. If you don't succeed, then you can go back to being a 3rd Party. Don't get me wrong. I think there is the potential of a 3rd Party upset, but without a distinquished and communicative leader, the party will not likely go far.
