Terminator Salvation Trailer vs Transformers

The final robot in the Terminator Salvation trailer had a very Transformery feel to it (even the sfx were similar). I did a google search and my feeling was confirmed: lots of other people had similar impressions.

So, just for fun, here's a little spoof. I used the original Terminator Salvation trailer (audio+video) and took clips (video only) from the Transformers (2007) movie. Some clips were "close enough" but some seem to fit perfectly, even the sfx.

Pause at :50 isn't that a deleted scene. I read that after the t 800 rips apart the malfunctioning 600 it picks up the mini gun arm. But that moment was not shown in the theatrical cut

I hope Terminator Salvation made enough money to justify Terminator 5. I actually really liked Salvation and want to see it to the end of the war between the machines and the humans. There still is no resolution in the Terminator Universe.
