Lou Mongello from WDW Radio brings you his daily video diary from Walt Disney World. On March 19, he takes you through the Magic Kingdom, aboard the TTA, and asks you to weigh in on one of your Disney World traditions.
When my family and I go to Disney we go to the hotel, get unpacked, while my mom gets the clothes unpacked, my dad and I go to Epcot and eat in the China Pavillion
As much as I LOVE MK, I just can't start there. I like to end with a bang so my final 2 days are normally at MK. When I was little, we never started with MK because then it would just make the other parks seem so boring.
And the parks don't seem to crowded around mid March. I'm trying to decide when my next trip will be. Hoping for a low attendance time.
Whenever we go to Disney World we do the exact same thing, always bypass the hotel and head straight to the Magic Kingdom! We always stay at the Polynesian so that our first night, around dinner, we can head back to the hotel and check in, but we're always back in the park in time for fireworks :)
Love the video Lou. We always ride the TTA; gives us a chance to rest our feet & see the sites.
When my son was little, tradition was Epcot first. He said it was because we traveled to get there. Made sense to him, so we did it. Now it depends on the time of day we arrive. If it's early, we go right to Hollywood Studios to catch the COH skits. If it's later we go to MK to catch SpectroMagic and Wishes. No matter how many times I see it, I still tear up; it makes me so happy.
Aww man I've never been on the TTA (since I've been to WDW only once, April 2005.) I hope it will be back up again before I return. I've been excited about Tomorrowland ever since Ep. 107.
I really like the SpectroMagic music. It's pretty magical.
Great job Lou! When I do my "shows", I always feel funny talking by myself to the camera. You own it buddy! Although, seeing the peoples faces when you walk past them is priceless. Its a mix between "Was that guy talking to himself..." or "Was that Lou Mongello..."
I hear dream along with mickey in the back ground!

Well, one of my family's traditions is that on the very first "full" day we go to the Kona Cafe for breakfast at the Polynesian.
