Walt Disney Animation Studios' magical classic "Beauty and the Beast" returns to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D, introducing a whole new generation to the Disney classic with stunning new 3D imagery. The film captures the fantastic journey of Belle (voice of Paige O'Hara), a bright and beautiful young woman who's taken prisoner by a hideous beast (voice of Robby Benson) in his castle. Despite her precarious situation, Belle befriends the castle's enchanted staff—a teapot, a candelabra and a mantel clock, among others—and ultimately learns to see beneath the Beast's exterior to discover the heart and soul of a prince.

Beauty and the Beast was made for 3D, they just didn't have the means to make it. I'm glad they've done it now

@AlemoBavir, glad I'm not the only one who sees it this way. I think the older we get, the more we start to lose touch with the fact that every generation is different and has different preferences. That's why our grandparents' generation is the most adamant at pointing out the faults of those who are younger, and we're quickly heading in that direction already with the way we talk about entertainment nowadays.

I love Beauty and The Beast. I did enjoy the 3D version, but the IMAX included "Human Again". I wish they would have left that song in the show. They gave it to us and then took it away.

Old Disney movies are nice but I find it stupid that people are comparing movies to a TV channel. Disney movies and Disney channel are not the same thing.

They're still make good movies and the show aren't that bad they're just aimed and certain age groups and new people.

It isn't all for you it's for everyone.

So, my high school is performing Beauty and the Beast the Musical this semester. I'm a plate! :D We're only a week into rehearsals, and our director found it amazingly convenient that Beauty and the Beast in 3D is out in theatres right now! So the entire cast is going to see it as a field trip next week! How awesome is that?
