Can you use anything else besides a lazer to make your ceiling level two dimensional or on a planier level?I have used strong string and it works. I misspelled planier,anyone know the correct spelling?

Its a take on the ridgid x ceiling systems used in basements and commercial buildings. i agree though all that drywall weight and steel and drip celing are just too heavy for 4 foot spacing of wires on the runners

This is crazy. First theresult is butt ugly. Second hanging drywall on another suspended ceiling is really asking for it..the weight is ridiculous.
Third service access to what ever was above the original ceiling is lost.
