Ive just listened to the RHCP track that you mentioned and your correct. Ive not heard that great track before that i know of yet i seemed to have copied it ......................hope they dont sue me :- )

Sounds good! Couple of questions. Are you using a mic on your amp? I hear a few effects (falange or phase) on the rythymn guitar. Are you using effects pedals or the onboard effects. I've used mics and plugged directly into this board and I can't seem to achieve a sound that is so clean. It's especialy garbled with most of the on board effects? Whats the secret?

Thanks for your comments.....all effects are from the Boss without any changes made. The only thing I wish I had changed is that the lead guitar is a bit loud in the mix. I think the recording level can have a bearing on the cleanness of sound as i had to experiment to get the rythym guitar sounding clean. Thanks again for listening
