these are my wolverine 1000 mile boots. Then brown I have had for several months and wore a lot. The black pair have only been worn about 5 times. I love everything about these boots. I began a quest awhile back to find to perfect boot, and in a world of tennis shoes and flip flops this was no easy task. I stumbled upon these, and fell in love. If you want to know all about the making of these, check out wolverines channel where they show you how they are made, and also how to care for them.

  • I have two pair of Alden's "indy" boot, and they are great boots. The Wolverine 1000 mile boot is just as great, just a different asthete. I am also stuck between my black 1000 miles and my brown 1000 miles. I can't wait 'til they are little beat up. I am off to Berlin for about two weeks and I am going to walk the sh#t out of one of these 1000 miles.

    Thanks for the tips

  • @manunda Way to rack up the miles on the boot! I think after a little more time has passed, I am liking the way that the brown are getting a nice worn look to them with some character marks. The black are great, but they really don't show any wear to them. Which is what some people will want. I like when My boots look traveled in.

  • wolverine in usual, are the sizes big? i use eu: 43 so i thought a 42 would do me good?

  • @greatdanefrederik I would recommend doing that. All my other boots are a US size 13, except for these which are 12. The 13 felt way to big. Also because the leather will form/expand after you start wearing them. I would say a size down from your normal would be the perfect fit.

  • For the price, the 1000 Miles are great boots. Aldens are definitely a level above though they are more expensive.

  • @phototristan I will be honest with you. I have never had my hands on a pair of Alden boots, but I trust they are as good of a quality as everyone says. But for the price and the style of them the wolverine boots hit each mark I was looking for. So I didn't really see the need to spend more for the Alden boot.

  • @TheDeadRabbits1 thanks dude ;)

  • @SpeedTriple1050cc Thanks a lot for watching, and for you kind words. I am glad this helped you out. I think you will love the boots! The best part is they make my socks smell like leather too! If you have any other questions after you get them let me know. Thanks again.

  • Thanks for posting this video. Great job. I too was on the quest for the "perfect boot". Wolverine's 1000 Mile comes very close to filling that tall order. I will picking up my first (there will be more) pair in a couple of weeks. Can't wait.

Also, I spoke with a representative from Wolverine. I told him about this video that you posted. He's going to check it out. I also told him that Wolverine needs to hire you! Thanks again.

  • @darkknightcol these would work fine with slim jeans. They have a very thin profile. With they way they lace up, pretty much any pant leg will go over them. They are not a chunky boot. Thanks for the video idea, I may have to try that out.
