I don't know if the Open University in the UK is better, but here in Australia, it was a total nightmare for me: being forced to learn stuff that was clearly obsolete, expensive textbooks, one that was written by the lecturers themselves, and was full of unnecessarily long and twisted explanations, lack of clarity and organization in conducting the course---and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Maybe we need real quality control, using the facilities on the internet, driven by real students.

Writer Jim Slattery, Art Director Dave Money, Director Dominic Savage. Not bad, but not as good as it could have been if the production company hadn't skimped.
