It's been 24 years since the last time a snow flake fell on St. Peter's Square. The last time the Vatican saw snow was on January 6, 1986.

  • I love snow but when it snows really heavy its awful as one can't get out and about in it! but must say the vatican look beautiful in this vid must say

  • @parochus exactly

  • @emptynet1 Yeah, it's true. And in some parts of the city it also accumulated! It usually snows once every 3-4 years in Rome, I can't undrestand why people remember only the big snowfall of 1985.

  • @greekmadnessss watch better then, it's clearly accumulating -.-'

  • I live in Rome since 1982 and the snow fell on 1985 (6 January and 18 March), 1986 (10 and 11 February), 1991 (6 February), 1996 (28 Dicember), 1999 (11 February), 2002 (16 January), 2005 (25 January). All with accumulation.

  • WOW! WOW! WOW! I hope it snows like this in Vatican Rome from time to time.
