Listen mate, after all your training, and a combat tour then and only then can you comment. This little show is ment to entertain and give the general public some small ideal of what the boys do. Correct spacing would have only had 2 or 3 of the patrol in the arena, how entertaining would that be? Also these boys are from the household cavalry, I would suggest calling them REMF's would result in a well deserved kicking, they been doing it for real since 2003 in sandland.

@BassDudeBear Also they are in a arena, hence there spacing. Also who are you calling a remf. You will learn very quickly what the army, marines, para ect think of the raf reg. You wont really have to worry much about situtions like this, since all you will be doing is guarding camp bastion, ready for when we come of the ground. O and the reason I know all this is because im the tall lanky sniper to the right of the patrol in the vid. Mind you im not a sniper, just had the rifle for the act.

@BassDudeBear I can I just state that this was the household cavarly that was doing the patrol in the mock up. There was only one person from the vets in the patrol, who was in the middle with the dog. The lads in this patrol have done two tours of afghansitan, both which requiered foot patrols. These guys know what they are doing, and there skills and drills are some of the best in the army. They have been under fire and caught up in explosions in real life.

@ bassdude..what a dog shit nonsense comment. Suppose you've marked up a dozen tours..numpty
wow, I hope these REMFs never, ever get let near a combat zone. One IED an the first 7 of the patrol would be smoked.

@BassDudeBear and what is your experience on the matter? Because i agree with BrutalForceUK

@13WilliamsA Okay, I agree to that. Brother and cousin both in 2 Para and I'm about to start trade training (RAF) in the next few weeks. I agree that I have no experience at all in a combat patrol, but the two people previously mentioned were watching this video with me and both commented on how these guys were far too close to each other. While I'll accept that the RAFR do not go out on combat patrols, they DO patrol, and this is how they would respond if they bumped. Have a good one buddy :)

@BassDudeBear In a real life scenario spacing would be wider but they are in an arena so what you expect? :) Best of luck with your trade training in the RAF, a mate of mine just got through the initial selection and has his basic training in the summer! He's looking to be a Mechanical Engineer. His name is George Flegg so if you ever see him give him as much shit as you can! Haha :P
