Indianapolis Baptist Temple Passively Resists IRS

When at our meetup in Indianapolis this past Monday, I had the pleasure of meeting Paul Zimmerman, who dropped some knowledge about an incident that went down in Indianapolis a few years back that pitted the Indianapolis Baptist Temple against the IRS (and soon enough, agents from other federal law enforcement agencies). Having been on-site as a reporter with the now-defunct SierraTimes.com during the siege, Paul had first-hand experience. I tend to think I have a decent knowledge on such incidents so I asked Paul if he wouldn't mind giving an overview of the event to point to yet another example of the fact that government is an institution based in violence - that if you don't pay them off they'll come after you with guns.

FYI i go to christel house and they got that building fair, the IRS was not being mean or hateful.They should have the bill and not changing there name. I get tired of being disrupted by protesters trying to get a building back that was tooken away 10 years ago. I know my facts!!

Government is inherently corrupt and power-hungry. The only way to decrease the corruption is to decrease the government.

The most corrupt agencies of a horribly corrupt government are the IRS, Homeland Security and the Federal Reserve. These three agencies have Americans over a barrel (more than the others do at least).
