When you first look at a split pedestal table it can seem pretty daunting with all the different parts. If you follow the steps that I demonstrate here in the video it really isn't bad at all.
As with the vast majority of the Amish made tables all you need is a 1/2 in deep socket ratchet and another person to help set the table top on it.
The spit ped is designed to hold anything from no leaves all the way up to 12 leaves. The leaves are 12 inches wide.
The table in the video is a 42 inch round with 6 leaves.
