VERY nice video. I liked how you remained calm the entire time, and didn't stop or scream or do any other obscene behavior like most people would do. Do you usually make these videos for big storms like this one? I think you should..just make sure to stay safe!! Hope the clean up is going well in that area.

@JayJayBarnz Thanks... but no. I run fyitb.com and all we do is video. I will go out and take video of a storm, but I really do not want to be caught in one like this again. Some storm chasers go there whole life to do what I just did by accident... well, they can have it. lol

The best part of this video is at 5:45... this is where the Tornado was coming up behind me, it basically came right up the interstate heading our into Tampa Bay, and slammed my vehicle. Ao, id you just want to see the tornado hitting me... jump ahead to 5:45

I live in Lakeland and we had some trees in our back yard that had there branches pulled up and ripped backwards. I was at work in Plant City and we sat in front of our store watching the storm. We couldn't see the parking lot. I love storms though, It's been my thing since I was little. I even like driving in it.

I drove through this at the same time as you. 11am-12. I was on the skyway though. By far the scariest experience of my life. Everyone on the skyway was going 5-10 mph and everyone drove in the left lane because the wind would occasionally blow us all into the right lane. I drove by the clearwater airport and saw the flipped planes as well. I have never cried so hard in my life than I did during this.
