Massive mesocyclone with rapid rotation that resembled a wedge tornado in Trego County, Kansas at 6:15PM. View to the north toward Collyer, Kansas.

  • If this is the storm I think it could be, it actually produced a tornado and crossed I-70 in Collyer Kansas. I don't have my map of Kansas w/ me right now, so I can't remember if Collyer is in Trego County. But the storm I saw had those same characteristics, the tornado wasn't extremely visible, but it had that inflow of dust going right into it. This was the first storm I ever chased, and first tornado I saw, if indeed this is the same storm.
