now that i can agree on. i wish more people could say the same. But they feel like they need guns for their safety, what they don't know is that guns are the reason they feel unsafe.

Yes. The point of owning a gun is not for protection in peace. It is a tool for hunting and markmanship, not something you leave loaded and locked under your pillow (it would be illegal, not to mention stupid).

Not once in my 40 years have I ever had need for a gun, but several times I have been involved in situations I am glad I did not have it available.

have a gun, and owning a gun are two different things. The police doesn't carry guns with them. But ofc they have it for dangerous situations.

Guns can be owned, i know someone who does, but they need to have the magazine and ammo on two different places, with the gun locked up in some special cabinet.

What country is that? All Scandinavian countries, such as my country Norway, have guns. I have guns, my father have guns; however, it is uncommon in cities, Ill grant you that.

The police does not have guns in my country either, but the people may own guns as long as they have a hunting license or a sporting license.
