I don't get it, why can't we just use our cell phone?

For several reasons,

1- You need your self phone with you to make phone calls. Only certain few phones can be programmed to send out GPS signals to a website.

2- If you lose this phone is not a big deal

3- It use pre paid cards so if you don't use it , you dont have to keep paying every month.

4- you want a GPS phone that no one has its # so its not ringing or receiving phone calls constantly

5- this phone consumes only $10.00 per month from the prepaid card until it runs out

@towersecuritycameras ...or you could just use your iphone which has free gps built in... Or pretty much any other phone in the world. And you won't have to carry around this thing... sighs... And it's a "cell" phone. Not a 'self' phone.

because it's not a contract phone its cheap and it works the only thing is ya have to charge it and have it on lol or it will be very difficult to track unless someone is dumb enough to turn it on haha BUT I thought boost mobile as stated were the only phones untraced thats why a lot of dealers and people in the city have boost and not other prepaids????
