@picpeige02 Barbra's true talent is not known by most... most think she's very good but are unaware of just how frisking amazing she was... I really suggest you watch this video... just to show you the how many different shades her voice had...

Wow Ive seen her 4 years on awards shows n random PBS shows.I never saw her in her prime. She was awesome and i never associated her with any kind of soul music,but she has that 2. A vocal phenomena from a different generation then mine but i get it.

This film stands alone as the film everyone should see at least once.,well certainly if you want to get the 'essence' of Streisand.I'm a huge fan but I recognise she's churned out some pretty dire films down the decades,"The Main Event" for one,and "Funny Lady" springs to mind.But "A Star Is Born" simply blows me away.Oh,& @ '15bluethings',lol.Her 'ugly suit & unbecoming hair' were the style of the day.And 'screechy'? Hmmmm,only in your world maybe.
