I started piano lessons in January 09. After a break of almost 2 month I restared in the beginning of August again. This is the piece I'm working on at the moment.

Learning piano as an adult is very hard, at least for me, but it is also a lot of fun ;) You are never to old to learn an instrument.

  • Just starting taking lessons, but I have my eyes on this one as one of my goals... fingers crossed

  • You had two months of practice less than me right I'm trying to play this but the harder version I only got like 23 bars well I got another 5 and a half pages to go hehe any way good luck and again nice playing sounds nice(-_-)

  • What level are you at you're pretty good

  • I think I'm in love with your fingers. You play beautifully and I'm taking my lessons from you!

  • You play a simplified version of this piece, but it's really good. I have been practicing the original version for a while, but I can't match the emotion you put into it and I appreciate the fact that you make very few mistakes. Well done!

  • I'm at 3 months now and somehow this piece is my goal, I don't see it happening in the next coming 5 months though, so far jingle bells is even very hard :)

really really well done I'd say..

  • I learned it by ear and it just takes 1 week.

You play it in a very simple way and it sounds good :)

  • You play very well, but this must be a simpler version of the piece, I'm not sure if you're aware. Maybe you should try and challenge yourself by learning the original version, that way the piece will sound fuller.

Speaking from experience, I think think you are perfectly capable of learning the original. I've learnt the whole piece in two months of lessons and I'm only a Grade 1 or 2 - so, I'm a beginner and I'm very slow. If I can do it, you can!

  • It's like Gymnopedie No. 1 light version (^_^)

  • PS: make sure you press all the notes in the chord at the same time... :)
