IS LOAN MODIFICATION A DEED IN LIEU OF FORECLOSURE?
No. A deed in lieu of foreclosure essentially is an agreement between you and your lender where you give your home to the bank and walk away. The homeowner does not get to live in the house any longer. You DO NOT want this option. Loan modification is a better way.
