In this programme, Aled reflects on his early days as a cathedral chorister, and we see him receive an award from the Royal School of Church music, at a special ceremony in Durham Cathedral. Aled chats to Lindsey Gray, Director of The Royal School of Church Music, who tells Aled how they bring together some 300 singers from all over the country in order to celebrate church music. One of their successes is the Millennium Youth Choir led by their conductor David Ogden, and it is this choir who sing our first hymn which is, "For All The Saints". Next we go over to St Mary's Cathedral in Edinburgh where we learn that their choir is unique, in that they are the only choir in Scotland who sing daily services. Our next number comes from The Choir of St Mary's Music School, Edinburgh who sing "Morning Has Broken".
This is produced solely to promote Aled and his music.
